A delegation from the Tibetan Parliament, including MPs Geshe Atong Rinchen Gyaltsen, Lobsang Gyatso Sither, and Tenzin Choezin, launched their Europe advocacy efforts in Geneva, Switzerland, on October 19. Upon their arrival, they were welcomed by Tibet Bureau Geneva officials, including Representative Thinley Chukki, and members of the local Tibetan community. Later, they met with Cédric Jeanneret, a member of the Geneva Canton's Grand Council and the Swiss-Tibetan Friendship Society, to discuss Tibet-related advocacy. On October 20, Representative Thinley Chukki provided the MPs with an overview of the bureau’s work, including strategies for effective Tibet advocacy within the United Nations framework.
