The "Spirit of Tibet: Celebrating Culture and Compassion" festival began today at the India International Centre, showcasing Tibetan culture through various events. Running from September 3 to 5, the festival includes a Buddhist sand mandala creation, cultural performances, medical camps, film screenings, and expert talks. Sikyong Penpa Tsering delivered a keynote address covering India-Tibet relations and the Middle Way Approach for resolving the Tibet-China conflict. The event, organized by the Department of Information and International Relations (CTA) and other partners, drew over 500 attendees on its first day.
