Symposium in Italy Celebrates Dalai Lama’s Legacy Ahead of 90th Birthday

A symposium marking the upcoming 90th birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama was held at the University of Bologna, Italy, with participation from Tibetan and Italian organizations, including the Italy-Tibet Association and Jamtse Ling Centro Rime. Representative Thinley Chukki of the Tibet Bureau in Geneva, among other guests, highlighted the Dalai Lama’s enduring health and global influence. The event also commemorated the 35th anniversary of the university's honorary degree to His Holiness and featured a documentary and photo exhibition honoring his life and teachings. A “Year of Compassion” campaign was announced.
