Tibetans in Dalhousie Celebrate US's Resolve Tibet Act

On July 17, 2024, Tibetan residents in Dalhousie held a special event to thank the US Government for enacting the "Resolve Tibet Act" on July 12, 2024. Tibetan leaders Phurbu Tsering and Phurbu Damdul expressed gratitude and urged India to adopt similar positions on Tibet. Sweets were distributed to mark the celebration. The new US law supports Tibetan self-determination, challenges China's historical claims over Tibet, and counters misinformation about the Dalai Lama.
