Dharamsala Students Reflect on Panchen Lama’s Legacy in CTA-Led Event

To mark the 30th anniversary of the 11th Panchen Lama’s enforced disappearance, the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR) of the Central Tibetan Administration, in collaboration with Upper TCV School, held a student elocution in Dharamsala. Tibetan youth from several schools spoke on the Panchen Lama’s legacy and the spiritual and political impact of his abduction. Speakers urged the younger generation to uphold Tibetan identity and language. The event concluded with a book launch and the presentation of certificates, emphasizing education as key to preserving Tibetan heritage.
