Belgium’s Tibetan School Celebrates Mother’s Day

Sherab Nangjey Weekend School in Antwerp celebrated Mother’s Day with a joyful event themed “Love and Kindness,” blending tribute, culture, and service. Attended by community members and dignitaries including Office of Tibet Secretary Thinley Wangdue, the celebration featured cultural performances by students and honored the vital role of mothers in Tibetan society. The event also facilitated community services such as Green Book assistance. Highlighting compassion and unity, the occasion underscored efforts to preserve Tibetan language and identity in exile through education and shared values.
