Tibet House Japan, led by Dr. Tsewang Gyalpo Arya, visited the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo on October 11, 2024, to thank the U.S. government for passing the "Resolve Tibet Act" in July. Dr. Tsewang Gyalpo Arya expressed gratitude on behalf of Tibetans in Japan and presented a memento to H.E. Katherine Monahan, the Deputy Chief of Mission. The Act has also been shared with lawmakers in Japan and Korea, encouraging similar policies. Monahan appreciated the gesture and affirmed continued U.S. support for Tibet.
