Tibetans in Dharamshala marked World Rivers Day 2024 with a mass cleanup at Bhagsu River, organized by various groups including the Tibet Policy Institute and Students for a Free Tibet. The event highlighted the importance of rivers through the theme “Waterways of Life.” An afternoon seminar focused on Tibet’s rivers, like the Yarlung Tsangpo, and their ecological challenges.
