Tibetans Celebrates 'Wisdom of Happiness' Screening at Woodstock Film Festival

On 20 October 2024, the Tibetan community of New York and New Jersey celebrated the screening of Wisdom of Happiness, a documentary on the Dalai Lama, at the Woodstock Film Festival. Highlighting compassion as key for global peace, the film drew around 170 Tibetans, with buses provided by the Tibetan Association to accommodate attendees. The venue was filled, and some had to watch the film on a laptop outside. Director Barbara Miller was moved by the strong turnout, and the event received support from the Tashi Kyil Tibetan Buddhist Institute.
