Tibetan Youth Congress Bike Rally Reaches Dibrugarh

Tibetan Youth Congress’ motorcycle rally advocating for Tibet’s independence reached Dibrugarh, Assam, on Friday. Starting on November 22 from Bumla Pass near the Indo-Tibet border, the rally spans 15,000 km across 22 states to raise awareness about Tibet's cultural and political plight. Participants aim to meet parliamentarians, visit Tibetan markets, and rally support for India's recognition of Tibet's independence. TYC President Gonpo Dondup accused China of cultural genocide through oppressive educational policies and called for global action against Beijing’s systematic suppression of Tibetan identity and freedoms. The rally highlights Tibet's historic sovereignty and ongoing challenges.
