Tibetan Youth Congress (TYC) has launched a 15,000-km motorcycle rally from Bum-la Pass to advocate for Tibet’s freedom and highlight China’s alleged cultural genocide. Flagged off on November 22, the rally will pass through 22 states, raising awareness about human rights abuses, environmental exploitation, and the erasure of Tibetan identity under Chinese rule. TYC President Gonpo Dondup urged international pressure on China and called on India to support Tibet’s independence. The rally includes stops at Tibetan markets and meetings with lawmakers to mobilize support for the Tibetan cause and preserve its cultural heritage.
