The Office of Tibet in Washington D.C. hosted a Sino-Tibet Youth Interaction on March 28 at the Northern California Tibetan Association Community Center. Chinese democracy activists Fang Zheng and Zhou Fengsuo, alongside Ginger Duan of “Chinese Youth Stand 4 Tibet” and Tibetan liaison officer Tsultrim Gyatso, addressed the history and future of China's democracy movement and Tibetan-Chinese relations. Speakers stressed the importance of youth engagement and cross-cultural understanding. Participants proposed joint initiatives and campus events to advance dialogue between Tibetan and Chinese youth.
