Tibetan Women Mark 66th Anniversary of Tibetan Women's Uprising Day

The Tibetan Women's Association (TWA) commemorated the 66th anniversary of Tibetan Women's Uprising Day in McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala, on March 12, 2025. Mayor Neenu Sharma and Tibetan NGO representatives attended. TWA President Tsering Dolma highlighted Tibet’s struggle since China's occupation in 1959, denouncing repression and cultural erasure. She urged global support against environmental destruction and human rights abuses in Tibet. The event concluded with a peace march to raise awareness. The TWA reaffirmed its commitment to the Tibetan cause and international advocacy efforts.
