Tibet Times reports that Chinese authorities have arrested a Tibetan woman named Zomkyi for allegedly spreading rumors about the closure of Ragya Sherig Norbuling school. Zomkyi, a relative of a former student, was detained by Nagchu County police, and her current whereabouts are unknown. The school, located in Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, was shut down on July 14 after 30 years of operation. The closure has sparked disappointment among Tibetans, with the school previously facing lawsuits and pressure from local officials.
