Tibet Advocacy Alliance-India has launched a strategic lobbying campaign in New Delhi to garner political support. Comprising five major NGOs, the coalition met with Indian parliamentarians to present four urgent appeals. They urged the government to officially recognize Tibet’s historical independence and acknowledge the Indo-Tibet border. The activists also called for a parliamentary statement honoring the Dalai Lama while protecting his succession rights from Chinese interference. Additionally, the group pressed for action against Beijing's colonial boarding schools and mega-dam projects on the Brahmaputra River, warning of severe ecological threats to the entire region.
