Tibetan Monks Tour Latin America with Sacred Chants for Peace

As part of the “Year of Compassion” celebrating the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday, monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery have begun a spiritual and cultural tour across Latin America. Launched on 14 June 2025, “The Mystical Arts of Tibet” features sacred chants, ritual music, and Sand Mandala creations in 13 Brazilian cities and six countries. Organised with Tibet House Brasil and CEBB, the initiative promotes Tibetan values of peace and compassion. A highlight will be Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche’s 30 June talk on Universal Responsibility in São Paulo.
