Tibetan Group Tours Swedish Schools to Expose Colonial Boarding System

The Voluntary Tibetan Advocacy Group in Sweden (V-TAG) has launched its "Teaching Tibet" educational tour, visiting high schools in Jönköping to expose the realities of China’s colonial boarding schools. National Coordinator Tenzin Lodoe Choedon and Events Lead Diki Wangyal delivered lectures drawing powerful parallels between the current Tibetan experience and the historical oppression of Sweden’s Indigenous Sámi people. Organized as part of the "Year of Compassion" to mark the Dalai Lama's 90th birthday, the initiative engaged students through interactive discussions and educational materials, supported by the Office of Tibet, London.
