From 20–21 May, Swiss-based Tibetan Representative Thinlay Chukki led a delegation to Frankfurt to strengthen international backing for Tibet. Accompanied by former envoy Kelsang Gyaltsen and UN Advocacy Officer Phuntsok Tobgyal, the delegation held meetings with German officials and civil society leaders, including former politician Roland Koch. The talks focused on human rights in Tibet and preparations for the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday. Chukki emphasized sustained global attention, while Gyaltsen stressed youth-led continuity in the Tibetan struggle. The visit ended with cultural engagements at Tibet House Germany to raise public awareness.
