Sikyong Penpa Tsering inaugurated a three-day Tibetan Cultural Festival in Dharamshala, marking his first official event since swearing into his second term, according to the Central Tibetan Administration. The festival at the Police Ground features traditional performances, exhibitions, and interactive stalls from prominent Tibetan institutions. International dignitaries from the United Kingdom, Chile, and El Salvador attended the opening ceremony alongside Indian officials. Tsering expressed deep gratitude for India's decades of humanitarian support. He emphasized the urgent need to educate younger generations about the Tibetan cause and voiced plans to expand the cultural exhibitions to other Indian cities next year.
