Tibet Cultural Festival in Paris Draws Nearly 6,000 Visitors

The 25th Cultural Festival of Tibet and the Peoples of the Himalayas was held in Paris from June 12 to 14, 2026, drawing nearly 6,000 visitors from France, Europe and the United States. Dedicated to the Year of Compassion in honor of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th birth anniversary, the festival featured Tibetan music, dance, opera, a fashion show, a sand mandala and food stalls. A special exhibition traced the Dalai Lama’s life and message, while an interreligious conference brought faith representatives together to discuss compassion as a shared human value.
