Team Tibet Dedicates Refugee Walk in Belgium to Dalai Lama’s 90th

Team Tibet joined over 4,000 participants in Belgium’s Refugee Walk, dedicating their 20 km journey to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday and the global “Year of Compassion.” Organised by Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen, the event raised €781,585 to support refugee projects. Lungta – Actief for Tibet coordinated Team Tibet’s participation, marking their third year in the initiative. A message from the Office of Tibet, Brussels, praised the team’s solidarity with refugees worldwide. Team captain Han Vandenabeele said the walk was a tribute to His Holiness and a reminder to spread peace, compassion, and unity.
