Sydney Tibetan School Holds Quiz on Dalai Lama’s Life and Legacy

The Sydney Weekend Tibetan Language and Culture School held its annual quiz competition on 20 September 2025 to mark the “Year of Compassion” honouring His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday. Students competed in four groups based on His Holiness’s principal commitments, with the Promotion of Religious Harmony Group winning first place. Teachers and parents praised the students’ Tibetan language skills and cultural knowledge. Ten recent high school graduates were also honoured with traditional scarves and books. This year marked the tenth edition of the school’s annual quiz promoting Tibetan language and culture.
