Swiss Parliamentary Delegation Visits Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile

A Swiss parliamentary delegation visited the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile in Dharamsala, reaffirming long-standing ties between Switzerland and the Tibetan people. The delegation included Swiss MPs Fabian Molina, Linda De Ventura, and Leonore Porchet, joined by Thomas Buchli of the Swiss Parliamentary Group for Tibet and Geneva-based Representative Thinlay Chukki. Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel thanked Switzerland for its early support in resettling Tibetan refugees and preserving Tibetan culture. Discussions covered Tibet’s human rights situation, Beijing’s assimilation policies, and the Dalai Lama’s succession. The visit concluded with a tour of the Parliament Hall.
