Sikyong Penpa Tsering Meets Global Leaders in Prague on Tibet Cause

Sikyong Penpa Tsering held a series of high-level meetings in Prague on October 14, 2025, with senior European parliamentarians, former leaders, and civil society representatives to discuss Tibet’s political, human rights, and religious situation. Topics included the Dalai Lama’s reincarnation, press freedom, and China’s control in Tibet. He met German MP Roderich Kiesewetter, former Slovak Prime Minister Iveta Radičová, and officials from Reporters Without Borders. Sikyong also met Czech Senators Jiří Růžička and Přemysl Rabas, who reaffirmed strong Czech support for Tibet’s democracy and the Dalai Lama’s leadership. Representative Thinlay Chukki accompanied him.
