Sikyong Penpa Tsering Joins Inauguration of New Assembly Hall at Thubchog Gatsel Ling Monastery

On Nov. 4, 2024, Sikyong Penpa Tsering attended the inauguration of a new assembly hall at Thubchog Gatsel Ling Monastery in Bomdila, with the consecration led by Gelug spiritual leader Gaden Tripa Lobsang Tenzin. Sikyong Tsering celebrated the hall’s construction, which was funded by local contributions, as a testament to the community's commitment to Buddhist values. He highlighted the monastery’s history and its educational role and honored the spiritual bond between Tibet and the Mon region. The event also saw messages from His Holiness the Dalai Lama and participation by key officials from Arunachal Pradesh.
