Sikyong Penpa Tsering Highlights Film's Power at Him Film Fest 2024

Sikyong Penpa Tsering attended the closing of the Him Film Festival 2024 at Central University of Himachal Pradesh, joining Legislative Assembly member Shri Sudhir Sharma and actor Shri Manoj N. Joshi. In his keynote, Sikyong discussed the community impact of film, referencing the Dalai Lama-centered documentary Wisdom of Compassion, co-produced by Richard Gere, which will premiere in India at the Upper Tibetan Children’s Village. Tsering encouraged attendees to embrace the film's message of compassion. Festival speakers and award presentations rounded off the event, inspiring young filmmakers from the Kangra region.
