Sikyong Penpa Tsering Extends Gratitude to Uzra Zeya

In a letter to U.S. Special Coordinator for Tibetan Issues, Under Secretary Uzra Zeya, Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration expressed deep gratitude to the outgoing . He praised her efforts in strengthening U.S.-Tibet relations through engagements with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Tibetan leadership, and civil society. Sikyong also thanked President Biden for prioritizing Tibet by appointing a Special Coordinator. Zeya’s initiatives, including her visit to Dharamshala, were commended for fostering hope and advancing the Tibetan cause for a peaceful resolution to the Sino-Tibet conflict.
