Sikyong Inaugurates Youth Symposium on Tibetan Culture at Sarah College

Sikyong Penpa Tsering inaugurated a four-day youth symposium on Tibetan culture at the College for Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarah. Organized by the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress in collaboration with the Department of Religion and Culture, the event aims to enhance research methodology skills among aspiring researchers. Notable Tibetan scholars from various institutions are featured as speakers. Sikyong emphasized the importance of the ongoing Tibetan digital library initiative and encouraged active participation. The symposium, supported by USAID, runs from August 20 to 24, 2024.
