Sidelined by Injury, Lode Palden determine to Finish Tibet Rally

Lodoe Palden is temporarily sidelined after a motorcycle accident near Gangtok resulted in a leg fracture. Despite the injury, he is determined to rejoin his 90-day nationwide rally within weeks. In the interim, Kalimpong-based Tenzin Jamphel has stepped in to ensure the campaign continues alongside Jamyang Tenzin. At a Siliguri press conference, the duo expressed gratitude for India’s support while urging New Delhi to officially recognize its border as being with Tibet, not China. The rally honors the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday and aims to galvanize Tibetan youth for the freedom struggle.
