Preparations Begin for Dalai Lama's 90th Birthday Celebrations in Australia

The Office of Tibet (OoT) in Canberra held a meeting at Sydney's Rigney Kystel Khang Weekend School to plan celebrations for His Holiness the Dalai Lama's 90th birthday in 2025. Representatives from various Tibetan and Australian organizations discussed events to honor the Dalai Lama's contributions to global harmony. The celebrations, themed "Year of Compassion," will include video and photo exhibitions, talks, and efforts to have the Australian parliament recognize his lifelong dedication. A coordinating committee was formed to oversee the organization of these events across Australia.
