Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted His Holiness the Dalai Lama on his 91st birthday on July 6, saying his message of peace and harmony has guided people around the world. In a post on X, Modi praised His Holiness’ moral and spiritual strength and wished him a long and healthy life. His Holiness was born on July 6, 1935, in Taktser, Amdo, Tibet, to a Tibetan farming family. Since 1959, he has lived in exile in India, where his birthday continues to draw public messages from Indian leaders and followers.
