Penpa Tsering was officially sworn in for his second term as Sikyong of the Central Tibetan Administration in Dharamshala. The historic ceremony took place at the Tsuglagkhang courtyard in the presence of the Dalai Lama. Tsering secured his reelection by winning more than sixty percent of votes during the preliminary election round. International lawmakers from the United Kingdom, India, and Latin America attended the event to express solidarity.
