Over 100 Global Delegates Unite in Dharamshala for Tibet Support Summit

Over 100 delegates from 32 countries have convened in Dharamshala for a three-day Special International Tibet Support Groups Meeting. The vital summit honors the Dalai Lama’s 90th birth year during the Central Tibetan Administration's "Year of Compassion." Keynote speakers, including Sikyong Penpa Tsering and Hollywood actor Richard Gere, emphasized the urgent need for global solidarity and youth engagement in the Tibetan cause. The administration actively aims to leverage this international backing to secure global legislation mirroring the U.S. Resolve Tibet Act and to protect the Dalai Lama’s future reincarnation process from any external political interference.
