Office of Tibet in Brussels Releases Stamps for Year of Compassion

The Office of Tibet (Bureau du Tibet), Brussels, released commemorative postal stamps to mark the Year of Compassion honoring His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama's 90th birthday. Issued by Belgian postal service, the stamps bear the inscription "Year of Compassion – 90th Birthday of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet" and will be used in official correspondence from July 6, 2025, to July 5, 2026. Representative Rigzin Genkhang said the initiative aims to spread compassion through everyday communication, making "every letter a tribute" to His Holiness's values of nonviolence and universal responsibility. The stamps are available for destinations within Belgium, Europe, and worldwide. They're offered at face value with no additional cost from the Office of Tibet Brussels.
