Northeast Tibetan Schools Hold Dialectic Meet in Sonada Settlement

The Northeast Tibetan Schools Dialectic Meet began on 25 September 2024 at Tashiling Cooperative Hall in Sonada Tibetan Settlement, Darjeeling. Organized by the Department of Education (CTA), the event runs until 1 October, featuring 98 participants from schools across Nepal and the Northeast. Khen Rinpoche Jampa Palden Sangpo of Guru Sakya Monastery highlighted the value of dialectic for developing reasoning and decision-making skills. Other speakers emphasized the role of education in Tibetans' efforts to reclaim their homeland through the Middle Way Approach.
