The Norgyeling Tibetan settlement in Bhandara celebrated the Dalai Lama's 89th birthday with a two-day event. Monks from Sera Jey Ling and Nyingma Monasteries performed traditional rituals.
Highlights included speeches from the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, awarding of public service certificates, and cultural performances. The celebration concluded with the Tibetan Folk Opera and a traditional Gorshey dance.
