The Office of Tibet has launched Camp Tibet, a new overnight summer camp designed to strengthen cultural identity among young Tibetans in North America. The first session, held in August 2025 in New York’s Adirondack Mountains, brought together 33 campers aged nine to fifteen from across the US and Canada. Supported by Tibetan community associations and the Conservancy for Tibetan Art and Culture, the programme combined outdoor activities with classes on Tibetan Buddhism, SEE Learning sessions, and cultural workshops. Campers also organised a Lhakar celebration, marking the camp’s successful debut and plans for future annual sessions.
