A six-member parliamentary delegation from Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji has arrived in Dharamshala to commemorate the 36th anniversary of the Dalai Lama's Nobel Peace Prize. The group includes Australian MPs Sarah Witty and Kate Chaney, Senator Barbara Pocock, New Zealand MPs Duncan Webb and Greg Fleming, and Fiji MP Virendra Lal. During their four-day visit from December 9 to 12, the lawmakers will meet the Dalai Lama and hold talks with Central Tibetan Administration leaders, including Sikyong Penpa Tsering. Their itinerary also focuses on engaging with Tibetan cultural and educational institutions.
