Monlam Chenmo for Dalai Lama’s Long Life Held in Bodh Gaya

A Great Prayer Festival (Monlam Chenmo) dedicated to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s long life was held at Kirti Monastery’s Kirtighar Samyeling in Bodh Gaya, India, from January 7–11. Though invited, His Holiness the Dalai Lama could not attend due to commitments in Karnataka, but his representatives was present. The event included long-life prayers, teachings by the 104th Gaden Tripa on Buddhist Jātakas, and debates. On January 11, a golden gratitude gift was offered on behalf of the Dalai Lama’s office, with prayers also held for Kirti Rinpoche’s long life.
