Central Tibetan Administration's Department of Religion and Culture launched its 9th Modern Science Workshop for Tibetan monks and nuns at the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives in Dharamshala on November 11, 2024. The two-week program, running until November 22, includes 17 participants from several monasteries and nunneries. Five science teachers from the LTWA will guide them. Established in 2013 to align with the Dalai Lama's vision of integrating science into Buddhist studies, the workshop aims to enhance monastic education by incorporating scientific perspectives into traditional religious training.
