Karnataka Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa reaffirmed the state’s commitment to supporting its Tibetan community during the 55th anniversary of Gaden Shartse Thoesam Norling School in Mundgod. Speaking at the event, Bangarappa described serving the Tibetan diaspora as both a duty and a privilege. He announced the reintroduction of "Moral Science" as a compulsory subject in state schools, a move aligning with the Dalai Lama’s global Social, Emotional, and Ethical (SEE) Learning initiative. As home to India’s largest Tibetan population, Karnataka continues to prioritize education and human values to sustain regional peace and cultural preservation.
