He highlighted the Dalai Lama's role in fostering Tibetan democracy and urged India to counter Chinese misinformation. The Deputy Speaker underscored China's repression in Tibet and linked resolving the Sino-Tibetan conflict to addressing India-China border issues. The delegation was urged to support Tibet's cause in India's foreign policy.
