German MP Michael Brand Visits Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile

The delegation met with Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang, and members of the Standing Committee. Discussions covered Tibet’s political situation, budgetary matters, and China’s increasing restrictions. The Speaker condemned China’s latest White Paper on Tibet as misinformation, while the Deputy Speaker urged MP Brand to strengthen support for Tibet in Germany. The visit concluded with calls for continued advocacy for Tibetans facing repression under Chinese rule.
