On 9 July, the Office of Tibet in Taiwan, with an NGO, held an awareness event about the Middle Way Approach for Tibetans and Taiwanese. The event started with a welcome by the Office's Secretary to the President and members of the Global Tibetan People’s Movement for the Middle Way Approach, highlighting the policy's importance.
Geshe Lobsang Choephel explained the policy's evolution, followed by Secretary Tenzin Shenyen discussing Tibet's current situation and the Sino-Tibetan conflict. The event included a Q&A session and the presentation of the book “Tibet Has Never Been A Part Of China” in Chinese.
From 5 to 7 July, a related campaign in Taipei attracted over 6,000 participants.
