Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR) of the Central Tibetan Administration inaugurated a three-day youth advocacy training program on January 3, 2025, at Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, New Delhi. The initiative, aimed at Tibetan students in North India, focuses on advocacy, leadership, and nonviolent communication skills. DIIR Additional Secretary Tenzin Lekshay emphasized fostering youth leadership for Tibet advocacy and building connections with Indian peers. The program, involving 35 participants from various regions, includes training led by experts in conflict resolution and communication. Scheduled to end on January 5, it supports CTA’s long-term leadership development goals.
