Dalai Lama’s meditation album nominated for 2026 Grammy

Meditation: Reflections of His Holiness the Dalai Lama has been nominated for the 68th Grammy Awards in the Best Audio Book, Narration & Storytelling Recording category. The project features His Holiness alongside sarod maestro Amjad Ali Khan, producer Kabir Sehgal, and artists Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash. Guest musicians include Andra Day, Ted Nash, Debi Nova, Maggie Rogers, Tony Succar, and Rufus Wainwright. The album blends spoken reflections with global musical traditions, expressing themes of peace, compassion and human unity. This marks the first Grammy nomination for the 90-year-old Dalai Lama ahead of the February 2026 ceremony.
