Dalai Lama Returns to Dharamshala After Bylakuppe Visit

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama arrived safely in Dharamshala this morning after a six-week stay in Bylakuppe and a brief visit to Hunsur. His Holiness was warmly welcomed at Kangra Airport by Tibetan leaders, including Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel and Minister Tharlam Dolma Changra. Devotees lined the motorcade route, holding ceremonial scarves. Tibetan officials also received him at Tsuglagkhang. During his visit to Bylakuppe, the Dalai Lama attended long-life prayers offered by Sera monasteries, Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, and Gyudmed Tantric Monastery.
