Dalai Lama Praises India’s Hospitality in Meeting with Kangra Officials

His Holiness the Dalai Lama met senior Kangra district officials at his residence in a private audience organized by Tibetan Settlement Officer Kunchok Migmar. Among those present were Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa and other key officials. His Holiness expressed gratitude for India’s hospitality, calling it his permanent home. He praised the natural beauty of Dharamshala, comparing the Dhauladhar mountains to Tibet and Pong Dam to Lhamo Lhatso Lake. He also noted the growing global interest, particularly from the scientific community, in Buddhist philosophy.
