Dalai Lama Joins Medicine Buddha Prayers Ahead of 90th Birthday

This morning, His Holiness the Dalai Lama took part in Medicine Buddha prayers at Tsuglagkhang, the main Tibetan temple in Dharamshala, in honour of his forthcoming 90th birthday and the Year of Compassion. The event, led by monks of Sera Mé Monastic College and presided over by Sharpa Chöjé Rinpoché and the Abbot of Sera Mé, drew thousands of participants. His Holiness also gave an oral transmission of his invocation to Palden Lhamo. The gathering reflected deep devotion and spiritual unity as the Dalai Lama returned greetings from well-wishers before departing the temple.
