Dalai Lama Departs Dharamshala for Knee Treatment in Delhi

His Holiness the Dalai Lama departed Dharamshala for Delhi to undergo medical treatment on his left knee. Hundreds of devotees, including monks and schoolchildren, lined his route to Kangra Airport with incense and ceremonial scarves to seek his blessings. Following his recovery, the Tibetan spiritual leader will travel to Ladakh in late June for an extended stay.
